Pay one time and get a delivery of our current favourite single origin coffee every month.

In 2018 we saw Brock and Elia traveled to Brazil to create new and cultivate existing Direct Farm Relationships—as this is something that we as a company are passionate about! While they were there they had the opportunity to visit Fazenda Recreio in Sāo Paulo. They fell in love with the systems and procedures that Homero Texiera de Macedo and his family lived by to ensure their cup quality was the best in the region. From that point on we do our best to support what he and his family have been doing for generations, by contracting a couple containers of their highest scored crop to fit into the Brazil Mainstay Single Origin slot on our offering list.

We couldn’t be more excited to release it again to the world, as we know that their passion and hard work will present itself in each and every cup.

We have been working with one of Brazil’s most consistently excellent coffee farms, Fazenda Recreio since 2018 when Brock visited this farm and was blown away by the standards. This coffee delivers a cup reflecting evolved processing methods for quality coffee production dating all the way back to 1890. After 4 generations of managing Fazenda Recreio in his family, Diogo Machaedo is now in charge, and he plans to maintain the historic farm’s exceptional reputation as the world of Specialty Coffee continues to blossom.

Educated as an Agricultural Engineer, Diogo Dias Teixeira de Macedo is responsible for managing the farm. Following in his parents’ footsteps, Mr. Homero Teixeira de Macedo Júnior and Maria Dias Teixeira de Macedo, he started working on the property in 2000. In the past few years, he has been working to combine tradition and innovation in order to produce the best coffees and prizes at quality contests are crowning his legacy.

Diogo was a finalist at the Cup of Excellence back in 2001, and in the following years he has achieved: 2001 (finalist), 2003 (4th), 2004 (Champion), 2008 (2nd), 2009 (3rd), 2010 (4th), 2011 (9th – Late Harvest), 2013 (5th), 2021 (15th), 2022 (4th), 2023 (4th), 2024 9th.
