Get ready to witness the ultimate showdown of coffee brewing skills at the 2026 Irish Aeropress Championships!

Each year we work to make this event the best event in the Irish Specialty Coffee calendar, and this year is no differet! Being that we are from Cork, we have wanted to host the event in Cork City for a while, and this year, it’s all happening. We couldn’t be more excited to gather everyone together again in Cork, in 2026, to see who we will be sending to Mexico City this December to represent Ireland in the World Aeropress Championships!

This year the winner gets flights + accommodation for 3 days paid for to represent Ireland in the World Aeropress Championships in Mexico City later this year.

We took surveys from contestants and specatators alike, and we listened. So this year there will be loads more swag for the contestants, and more give aways for the specators!

This is going to be a total party atmosphere, with beer, drinks, a DJ, food, loads of coffee, and even more craic!

Each of the contestants will receive a mystery coffee roasted and provided by Badger & Dodo.

WHO WILL BE JUDGING?

The last two years we had 6 judges for the first round to ensure that coffee doesn't cool before it is tasted, but still keeping the pace of the event up so that we can do 6 contestants at a time. We will continue with that format. See our 6 esteemed judges below:
