Honduras has always produced a good cup of coffee, BUT over the past 10 years we have seen this region really begin to “bloom”, with coffees coming in with a cupping score well above the specialty floor 85.
The Las Manzanas comes in with an 87 score and has been blowing us out of the water. The story behind this coffee is incredible. Watch the full video to find out more.

Dely Suyapa Matute is quite a remarkable lady, she is the mother of six and grew up herself picking coffee with her father. She tells us she always dreamed of having her own farm, but this was not a simple achievement.
Her husband moved to the US in order to earn money for the family, while she remained in Honduras looking after their children. It was this that allowed them to buy a small farm. While Dely had been awaiting her husband’s return she had also put herself to work growing seedlings, and managed to grow 10,000.
In 2014 working together, she and her husband managed to place 4th in the COE.
Dely says she loves producing coffee because the whole family can be involved.
