Tero Farm is a prominent coffee farm located in the Guji Zone of the Oromia Region in southern Ethiopia. The farm is well regarded for producing high-quality specialty coffee, contributing to the growing reputation of the Guji area as a source of some of the finest coffees in Ethiopia.

The climate in Guji is ideal for coffee cultivation, characterized by moderate temperatures, consistent rainfall, and rich volcanic soils. These conditions foster the development of high-quality Arabica coffee, with distinct flavors and aromas.

Tero Farm was established as part of the broader movement in Ethiopia to preserve and promote the country’s rich coffee heritage. Ethiopia is the birthplace of Arabica coffee, and the Guji Zone, where Tero Farm is located, has become one of the key regions for producing some of the finest specialty coffees in the world.

The coffees are typically delivered the day they are harvested, and are first sorted for ripeness and quality before being rinsed clean of dirt. Then they are spread on raised drying beds or tables, where they will be rotated constantly throughout the course of drying. Drying can take an average of 8–12 days, depending on the weather.
