Barista 101 Essentials
This course will get you up and going as a barista, giving you a the basics and setting you on a pathway to becoming a good barista. You will get about 70% theory and 30% hands on – in the end, all the talking means nothing if you can’t make it in the cup.
We cover the following:
– History and education around coffee and the bean
– Introduction to machinery, what’s what and where
– The espresso based beverage menu
– Setting the grind
– How to texture milk
– Basic machine cleaning and maintenance
