If you follow us on social media you’ll know Brock and our head roaster Elia traveled to Brazil in October 2018, the peak of harvest season. For 3 days of their journey they were located in the Bourbon Speciality head quarters of Pocos de Caldas. Hundreds of coffees were cupped over the duration of their stay, traveling from farm to farm, meeting wonderful people and seeing, first hand, how things were done.
Sitio Yamava is a 342 hectare farm with 284 hectares planted with coffee. In 2013 the farm and it’s coffee began winning quality contests and was a finalist on four consecutive occasions of Alta Mogiana competitions. Both Brock and Elia thought this coffee was a stand out and perfect for the Irish market. We hope you agree!
